Renown Health Foundation

Renown Health is northern Nevada’s healthcare leader and Reno’s only locally-owned not-for-profit health system.  It is an entire network of Reno hospitals, urgent care centers, lab services, X-Ray and imaging services, primary care doctors, and dozens of medical specialties. Renown has the only Level Two Trauma Center in the region. Renown Health’s catchment area spans 100,000 square miles from northern California to the Utah border and serves almost one million community members.

It is Renown Health’s mission to make a genuine difference in the health and well-being of the people and communities we serve. Our vision is to work with area partner organizations to inspire better health in our communities.

As the area’s only dedicated children’s hospital in the region, Renown Children’s Hospital impacts more than 26,000 kids’ lives every year. It offers the most advanced healthcare facility, which provides a full range of pediatric services including the Wilbur D. May PICU, the only Pediatric ICU in the region, as well as the David & Judy Hess Children’s Imaging Center, Children’s Specialty Care, and Children’s Infusion Center, and the only dedicated Children’s ER. Renown Children’s Hospital is also home to northern Nevada’s largest Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Renown Health Foundation raises funds to purchase state-of-the-art equipment, develop facilities, conduct research, offer community health programs, and provide educational training for our healthcare professionals. As the community’s only not-for-profit hospital, philanthropic support and partnership are vital to providing and expanding needed services for our region.

Recent projects and programs impacted by the generosity of our donors include:
